Youth Ministries

IBC has Sunday School classes every Sunday morning that range from Toddler to College.  Classes begin at 10 a.m. and close at 10:45 a.m., just prior to the 11 a.m. Worship service.

Wednesday evenings for youth and children's bible study and activities;

     For teensgrades 9 through college,  from 7 to 8 p.m. there is Teen Bible Study,

     For kindergarten through 8th grade, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. a light dinner is served followed by Bible                    Study and fun activities.

We even have a Youth Choir called “King’s Kids” for toddlers through pre-teens.  They meet every Sunday  morning prior to their Sunday School Class and love to perform the songs they learn for their Church Family.

Throughout the year all youth are led through God’s Word and are taught the importance of prayer and Christian fellowship.   Many activities take place each month, to include a week in July at the Virginia Baptist Camp Eagle Eyrie, near Lynchburg, VA.   Also each year the teens travel to Pigeon Forge, TN in the beautiful Smoky Mountains where they join 8,000 to 10,000 other young Christians for the “Strength to Stand Conference.”

Our teens host the Church’s Operation Christmas Shoebox program, and our preteens host the food drive for our local Food Bank.

Whether it’s movie night, a pool party, a fundraising car wash, Youth Sunday, Vacation Bible School, the Christmas pageant, Christmas caroling, or any of the other many youth activities that are always happening at IBC, our youth are laying their faith foundation and making life-long friends.
